Vanishing on 7th Street was shown at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this year. Starring Hayden Christensen, Thandie Newton, and John Leguizamo, this is yet another movie suggesting that we should be afraid of the dark.
Though I have to admit that the trailer has a bit of atmosphere, I also have to say that I really don’t like Christensen. I haven’t liked him in anything since Life as a House where he played opposite the always brilliant Kevin Kline. And the whiny Anakin Skywalker who turns Darth Vader (spoiler!) never worked for me.
So I’ll probably skip this one, but I like that they don’t really give much away in this trailer!
