Hi all…

I was jazzed to find out today that Kung Fu Panda will be coming to DVD, but not alone. A companion follow up movie, Secrets of the Furious Five, which continues the story.

According to Home Media Magazine, this is the first time a new release will be out on a Sunday. We really enjoyed Kung Fu Panda when it came out back in June (you can read my review here), so the prospect of a new DVD continuing the antics of Jack Black & company is exciting news!

There isn’t a lot of information about the companion film, but it evidently has new animation and both Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman back in their roles.

The double pack (includes Kung Fu Panda and Secrets of the Furious Five) will retail for less than $25 and Kung Fu Panda will also be available by itself for $20.

Amazing how fun animated movies like this come out right before the holidays. 🙂

Until next time…

p.s. You can pre-order the movies in Blu-ray, Widescreen, and Fullscreen formats at Amazon here:
