Get Smart or Love Guru? Choices, choices…

Image via WikipediaHey all…
So this coming weekend I have to decide whether I feel like silly sight gags from Mike Myers or the revival of a TV show from the 70s starring Don Adams…
Any thoughts? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
Love Guru looks fun and frivolous. But I recently read an article in EW that makes me wonder if it’s a “message movie“… I’m not sure I can handle a preaching Mike Myers.
Get Smart looks like a throwback to the TV series, with Steve Carrell and The Rock and many other fun folks. Will it be dull? Or will it be worth seeing?
I’m open to suggestions here… Any thoughts?

Both look pretty fun. If I saw one or the other I would say get smart, and love guru is a dvd pickup

I’m thinking the same…Get Smart while Love Guru as a rental. I’ll give you a bit of the inside scoop of Get Smart tonight, but won’t be publishing my review until early Fri morning (unless there’s no restrictions…but usually there are).

Hey Brian,
You should go check out Get Smart! I saw it last night and it was hilarious! The audience was laughing almost the whole time! I’ll have something up on the site in the wee hours of the morning.

[...] funny to me is I was already on the fence about it vs. Get Smart. (You can see my fence sitting here.) But Get Smart is getting mixed press in a number of places. So I’m going to see Get Smart [...]
