Am I a Curmudgeon if I don’t like April Fools?
Welcome back!
Image from WikipediaHey all…
Some folks would say that I’m not a very fun guy. They don’t know me well, don’t get my sense of humor, or don’t like my sense of humor. That’s just the way of life. Can’t get along with everybody.
But for some reason, practical jokes and April Fools Day just don’t do anything for me. I guess I’ve been the butt of too many jokes in my lifetime.
Does that make me a curmudgeon? A Scrooge? A stick in the mud? Maybe it does. But there must be other people who don’t appreciate April Fools.
Anybody? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
Any opinions out there?

Nah- I’m not a huge fan of April Fool’s either- the jokes don’t seem to be all that clever. Now if it was well done, then maybe… Of course I’ve always been more Abbott and Costello than three stooges…

Ah. The whole “smart” vs. “dumb” comedy debate. I have my Abbott and Costello Who’s on First moments, but every once in a while I feel like Shemp.

Ah, who am I to talk- I liked Baseketball… hey, have you seen the Improv Everywhere Little League game? Search for best game ever on youtube or I’ve got it up.

So where would we classify that? Pretty intellectual with all the planning- kids reactions are kinda slapstick… It’s hard to nail down what funny is, guess because it’s so personal. Anyway, I’m still with you no stupid April 1 jokes…
