Four images from Scream 4

Hi there!

Do you remember Scream? The movie that started a new wave of slasher movies in the late 1990s? Well, there’s a new one coming after ten years since Scream 3!

Scream 4 (also known as Scre4m) brings back David Arquette as Sheriff Dewey, Neve Campbell as Sidney, and Courtney Cox as Gale along with a new generation of young stars like Emma Roberts and Hayden Panettiere. Director Wes Craven is back in his chair and of course Ghost Face is back for blood.

Here are a few stills from the film coming out April 15, 2011 (Flickr feed may take a bit to refresh, so come back in a while if they don’t appear right away):

Question: Will you go see this franchise reboot in theaters? Or will you wait for Ghost Face to come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Insidious – A few images…

Hi all…

It’s rare that I actually pay attention to horror flicks. Occasionally I’ll go see one and laugh out loud during the scary parts because it’s fun to see everyone in the theater turn and glare… But typically I stay more to less gory fare (unless it’s an action movie with lots of explosions, blood, and guns).

Somehow, Insidious captured my attention, so I’ve been watching for news and pictures to see how things are going. The trailer looks pretty scary (in the vein of Poltergeist), but here are a few images to keep you occupied…

Trailer Time: Source Code

Hey all…

I’ve been avoiding watching any trailers for Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal as a soldier who wakes up in the body of a guy on a train about to explode in Chicago. Now, the fact that it’s directed by Duncan Jones, the same director of the cool and twisted movie Moon, had me excited for a while. But now that I’ve seen the trailer, it looks like more of a Groundhog Day spinoff.

The film also stars Michelle Monaghan and Vera Farmiga, but I’m left scratching my head a bit. Unfortunately, I’ll probably skip this one and wait until I see a few more reviews. It hits theaters on April 1, 2011.

Question: What do you think of the trailer? Is this Groundhog Day all over again?
