I watched it yesterday on DVD and came away wondering why someone would go to the trouble to tell the same alien type movie over and over again. The cinematography was good but not great. Maybe I have been spoiled after seeing Avatar in 3D. This entire movie seemed to me to be very much a retake of many other alien type movies. District 9 sure didn’t do much for me.
