Bond is Back… November 7… Quantum of Solace
Welcome back!
Hi all…
Finally… A Quantum of Solace has a trailer… It releases November 7, 2008. And it looks magnificent.
With Casino Royale in 2006, I fell back in love with the world of James Bond. It intersected with the world of Jason Bourne for a time, and that gritty realism grabbed me in a way that I hadn’t been grabbed by a Bond film in a very long time.
Daniel Craig’s Bond is vicious. Hard. Violent. And damn good. This trailer gives us a taste. We’ll have to wait a few months to see if it’s as good as Casino Royale, but I have some hope that’s the case.

I never expect they will choose the same hero from casino royal. But, he is an excellent actor. Hope it will be better than CR.

I have to agree with you on this one. I am pumped for this release. The last 3 or 4 Bonds have sucked so bad that I will never watch the movies they were in. Daniel Craig nails it. And its about damned time someone does.

Daniel Craig definitely nailed it. We can only hope he sticks around a while in the Bond-i-verse and continues to have great scripts to entertain us.

@Bingo Live Yes, I thought Daniel Craig did a great job in Casino Royale. Quantum of Solace was good, but not as good as CR. I haven’t had a chance to post my review of that yet?

James Bond’s Casino Royale is a remembrance for me because when I saw this film, I came to know about the poker game which is played in the famous places and on the internet too. I went to the cyber café and signed up in the casino poker game site and started learning. In the film of James Bond the game has been very effectively popularized.

@Bingo Live – That’s an interesting way to look at the movie. But if you hadn’t seen poker before (I’m horrible at it!) I guess it would definitely appear to be something glamorous! Thanks for the different perspective!
