@Margaret - Thanks for the comments. As a parent, it's always a challenge to find games that not only challenge kids, but are fun at the same time. You and your teams have an amazing grasp of what makes educational games *FUN* - and that's a heck of a skill to have. As I said - great work!!

Wow - Thank you so much for the attention to detail you gave in your review of ItzaBitza. As a small startup that wants to make a positive impact on our earliest gamers/learners screen time I am very happy to hear your daughters liked the game.

I'll forward your review to the team. These guys have a long history in shipping successful video games. It is exciting to me to have these skills applied for games for our children. As a mom of two, the only thing I could find for my daughters growing up was crap compared to XBox games...

About the word help. I led a research project at Microsoft where we collaborated with learning scientists and reading specialists. The intent of how word help is done is to give a new form of reading practice. Thus, if the full sentence is read to the child, they do not have to practice reading. Where the learning research is coming from is phonemic awareness is super important, and kids get a lot of practice in that. Harder to get practice in is reading connected text in a way they can succeed and build self-confidence.
